A Bit Special - Hoyle’s Cut Pinot Noir
$110.00
Made from D2V5 and G5V12 clones, the same clones used at Giant Steps and named for Ian and Ann Hoyle, the grape growers that made it all possible. Also aged in a single second use Francois Freres 500l French barrel, this wine is elegant and our take on a Vosne-Romanee.
A proper expression of cold climate pinot from Tasmania, an expedition of fruit from light hearted violets to silky tannins, lifted sea spray, a generous length it will take you on a journey, with only 7% whole bunch. This wine will be able to last in the cellar up to 30 years, however is dangerously approachable now.
